I am very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I am a zoning and land use attorney in Montgomery County and I have done a lot of work over the years in Montgomery Township. It may not sound like much, but the greatest courtesy Bruce showed me was always taking my phone calls and always giving me the kind of practical advice that attorneys doing my kind of work cannot live without. If my project had no chance, Bruce would warn me and I could discuss that advice with my client and withdraw whatever application I had filed - saving my client thousands of dollars. At least I could get a realistic picture and that is really all anyone in my line of work can hope for. In a few townships, it is hard to even get a return phone call.
Bruce was almost always smiling and had the good sense to give quick, honest advice and then move on. For many years, my wife and I even bought filet roasts for Christmas from Bruce at Venezia's. It seemed clear to me how much he enjoyed working there. I missed him this past Christmas, especially since I didn't know why he wasn't there.
Finally, I was very sorry to have missed the viewing and funeral for Bruce. Unfortunately, some health issues of my own prevented me. On behalf of all the land use lawyers at Wisler Pearlstine, I offer my sincere condolences to Bruce's wife and family. Although I know Marianne will do a great job for the township, it will never be the same for me without Bruce being there.

He was up in Glens Falls last summer. He invited me to lunch with Melissa at The Log Jam. It was the first time we had a conversation as he, not being the older cousin I never really connected with, but we, being cousins and our life experiences. So many funny family stories! Such great conversations with the two of them. I will, as we all will, miss him immensely.

I am so sorry to hear of Bruce passing. He was a tremendous person. We always had awesome discussions about other things besides Real Estate. I met Bruce when he was at East Norriton and we became friends right off and he took me under his wing go thru the process. I will be always indebted to him for his guidance and friendship. Melissa, my heart goes out to you. But Bruce will always have a place in my heart.

That's beautiful and so true, he was so kind, gentle and generous. Bruce spent a lot of time and effort helping us with the flooding issues in 2017 and the city's water lines part in it. He had many conversations with OUR city planners and charmed them into a lot of help. He threw himself all in and I'll always be thankful. He and Melissa were also extremely generous, supportive and compassionate with the loss of my mother, father and Sophia. We will miss you dearly Bruce.
