John "Jay"Albert Fennell III  

John "Jay" Albert Fennell III, 71, of Norristown, PA passed away Monday, March 25, 2024.

He was born in Norristown, PA on March 31, 1952, the son of the late John A. and the late Agnes (Hoy) Fennell. He was the husband of Catherine Marie Lawlor.

Jay was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School and went on to attend Lock Haven University where he was a proud member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He later attended Villanova University for his Master's Degree. He was a Systems Analyst for Unisys.

Survivors include Wife Catherine Fennell, Son Liam Fennell, Daughter Caitlin (Thomas) Armstrong, Son Kevin Fennell, 2 Grandchildren Billy and Caylee Armstrong, Sister Alice Lawrence, Sister Rosemary (Barry) Maher, Brother Tim (Alice) Fennell, Brother Richard (Marita) Fennell,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Granddaughter Mollie Armstrong, Brother Thomas Fennell and Brother Patrick Fennell.

His Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 10:30 AM from the Lower Church of Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 N. Trooper Road, Eagleville, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 N. Trooper Road, Eagleville, PA.

Interment will follow mass in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: The Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library at Rosemont College.
