Obituary of Benito O. Pellegrin

Benito O. Pellegrin “Benny”, 84, of West Norriton, PA passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. 

He was born in Tripoli, Libya on April 13, 1939, the son of the late Umberto Pellegrin and Maria Elena Vauce Pellegrin.

Benito moved to Norristown, PA from Recoaro, Veneto, Italy in 1957, and has been living in Jeffersonville for the past 56 years.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown, PA.

Benito served in the US Army, being stationed in various cities throughout the world.

He was an accomplished golfer and an avid sportsman who cared for all animals and bred and trained Brittany Spaniel dogs.

Those who knew Benny would be greeted with a “Yo Buck” and a friendly smile.

He was a prolific Tile and Marble Setter who took great pride in his work and was a mentor to many.

He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Atkins) Pellegrin.

He is survived by Daughter Darice (& Edward) Bloom of Collegeville, Daughter Lisa (& Archie) Allan of North Wales, Daughter Regina Tan of Conshohocken, Sister Anna Maria Montagano of Pottstown, Brother Armando Pellegrin of Royersford, Brother Camilo Pellegrin of Collegeville, Brother Franco Pellegrin of Plymouth Meeting and his Grand Daughters Dellena Bloom, Sophia Bloom and Lyla Allan.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Danilo, Fedora, Dino, Zenia, Arturo, Gatore, Danilo, Rinalto, Tony and Mario.

His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  Fr. Richard Smith officiating.

Interment will be private.
