Mom, I will miss you forever. I still can't believe you are gone. I feel so fortunate to have had you for as long as I did. We had so much fun years ago going to the city to go shopping at Strawbridges and when you and Dad took us all to Wanamaker's at Christmas to see Santa and the light show. We went to Elaine Powers together and had fun. Girl Scouts, music lessons, softball, soccer, football games, band competitions, you and dad making hoagies with the Dolins and other band parents. You and Dad were so involved in what we were doing growing up and I am so grateful for all of it. Trips to Hershey Park and visits with Shirley and Carl were the best. Skating at the Hershey Arena. OMG, so many wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything. I will love you forever; Dad too. Now that you are back together hug him tight. I am sending hugs and kisses to both of you; my forever guardian angels in heaven. Give Nanny and Pop Pop hugs and kisses from me too! Love you!

I have only knew her for 2 years but I have met 2 daughters and Bertie and the daughters made me a family person as a caregiver to her... I have taken care of her, taken her to my house and she loved to pet the cats and sit outside in the sun and eat lunch. She loved to go to breakfast and met up with a few friends from a long time ago. We stopped a Turkey Hill and she played the lottery when I stopped to play my lottery. The best part was me walking her to the Shannondell church service every Sunday since I started ... We became sisters and I will never forget our very good times together. I loved her smile everytime I walked in her door ... She even met my daughter and attended her wedding a year ago and my family met her ... Thank God for Her ...

So sorry to hear of Alberta's (Bertie's) passing. I have so many wonderful memories of our time together in elementary, through high school and beyond. Thanks to Shirley Byler Ortenzio, our class has been able to keep in touch over the years. One of my fondest memories is the year we celebrated our 60th (I think) birthdays at my summer home on Broadkill Beach. After Tony's passing, Alberta continued to find ways to be a blessing to others. Her pleasant disposition and caring heart have touched many. She will be missed by us all.
