Obituary of Melissa Ann Orler

Melissa Ann Orler, 51, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

She was born in Norristown, PA on August 10, 1971, the daughter of the late Victor and Maude (Reynolds) Orler.

Missy has been living in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia for over 20 years, formerly of Conshohocken, PA.  She enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, and most especially spending time with her family. She had a long-standing interest in cars and aspired to be a mechanic like her father. She was once an accomplished phlebotomist but her primary passion was caring for her kids. She always carried around knick-knacks and would love handing them out to her loved ones. She would remember the little things about people and was an excellent gift giver. She always put others before herself. 

She was the wife of the late Joseph Armstrong, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Armstrong (& Brandon Towson) of Pottstown;

son, Joseph Armstrong, Jr. of Conshohocken;

three sisters, Maude Orler of Conshohocken, Vicki Orler (Abdul Hadi Abdussalaam) of King of Prussia, and Elizabeth Orler (& Matthew Pierce) of East Norriton;

nieces and nephew, Sabrina, Jason, Maudie, Samiyah and Ruquiya;

great nieces, Sophia and Dakota;

and her beloved dog Buster. 

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Rose Orler.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
