- Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you. Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you, losing a loved one. We are told at Ezekiel 18:32 “I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord.” As you can see, He does not like death any more than we do. It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life! (Rev 21:3,4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer. Louka cousins: Aunt (H)Ellen will be greatly missed. She made us laugh, she knew all of our Egyptian side history, she enjoyed life and she loved well. No doubt she will be greatly missed but her legacy remains active in her children and grandchildren. Many prayers to each of you and always the hope of meeting again.

We pray that the Lord may repose her soul. It was our pleasure to know Ellen and Mounir and their wonderful children. Ellen was wonderful and strong during Mounir’s illness as well as raising a wonderful family that we are all proud of. It was a blessed family and thankfully the grandchildren will carry the torch forward. Her memory will be with us and we will learn lessons from her life. As she is now in a wonderful place where there is no illness or pain. We ask her to pray for us. Our Condolence to the Louka Family. Monie, Monir, Dahlia and Sammy

Dear Ellen, We watched you stand tall and courageous as you fought your way day in and day out , knowing that go you must, yet not until you fulfilled your utmost highest calling of being the kind of mother we knew you to be. You did it all with such grace and dignity, that we took it for granted that you were still amongst us. But now you're gone . But you see, your warrior skills had been tested and proven long ago, when for over ten years you stood there, again tall and brave, day in and day out as you embraced our dear Mounir's illness and fate with such grace and dignity and unwavering faith in the goodness of life and what it brings to our doorsteps. Eight grandchildren later, you have the evidence to prove it. You,Ellen, have taught us all lessons beyond what preachers and sholars from all walks of life could have done and you did it day in and day out. We have been blessed beyond the norm with being around you and we thank you from the depth of our hearts. May you rest forever and ever in the arms of the Angels.
