Obituary of Helen M. Collins

Helen M. (Birmingham) Collins, age 89, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her home in Collegeville. Born on April 28, 1927 in Wayne, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and the late Anna (Carberry) Birmingham. She was the loving wife of Thomas Collins, who passed away in May. Born and raised in Wayne, Pa., Helen has been a Collegeville area resident for the past 60 years. She was a member of St. Eleanor’s Catholic Church of Collegeville and she was a graduate of Radnor High School. She enjoyed Traveling and especially her trips to Ireland. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and vacationing at Cape May New Jersey. She is survived by; Daughter , Gale Collins of Collegeville, PA; Son , Michael J. (& Tracy) Collins of Royersford PA; Son , Thomas W. Collins of Eagleville, PA; Son , Gerald Collins of Collegeville, PA; Grandchildren, Kevin, Shannon, Michael & Brendan. She was also survived by several nieces & nephews She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Christine Marie Collins, and Granddaughter, Keeley Collins and four brothers and five sisters. A Funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 at 10:30AM at St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, Pa. Friends may call Friday morning from 9:30AM-10:15AM at the Church Interment will be at Limerick Garden of Memories.
