Obituary of Steven R. O"Brien

Steven R. O'Brien, age 57, of East Norriton, a delivery driver with the Times Herald died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Towne Manor East of Norristown, PA. Mr. O'Brien was born January 24, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late John R. and Dorothy G. (Gallagher) O'Brien. Steven has lived in the East Norriton area since 1978, formerly of Plymouth Twp., Pa He was an employee of the TIMES HERALD for over 34 years, delivering the newspaper to many local distributors, stores and delivery people He was an avid Ham Radio & CB Operator and went by the call name Shamrock 396. Steven also enjoyed working on and restoring cars, driving Cadillac's, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and going to the shore, crabbing, & boating In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his children Sharon Walsh of Collegeville, PA Steven R. O'Brien, Jr. of Norristown, PA and Kaitlyn O'Brien of East Norriton, PA; a sister, Sharon Bye of Carney's Point, NJ; and two brothers, Scott O'Brien of Hammonton, NJ., and Timothy O'Brien of West Creek, NJ; and two grandchildren Cassie & Jared Walsh. His funeral service will be held 2:30 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA . Friends may call Friday from 1 to 2:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
