Obituary of Daniel J. Begley Jr.

Daniel was the husband of the Late Maria (McCarrick) Begley. He was an Accountant for over 45 years with Exides Storage Batteries, retiring in 1990. He has resided in Blue Bell since 1957, and he previously resided in Plymouth Valley and Philadelphia. He was a 1939 Graduate of Roman Catholic High School of Philadelphia. He attended Georgetown University and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a WW II veteran of the US Army, serving as a Sergeant with the 406th Infantry Regiment in the European Theater of Combat Operations. Born on October 9, 1923, he was a son of the late Daniel J & Susan (O'Kane) Begley Sr. he was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church in Blue Bell, and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
