Verna W. Diltz, 90, of Norristown, PA passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2016 . She was born in Wellman, IA on September 5, 1925. Verna has been living in Norristown, Pa since 2007. Formerly of Collegeville, Pa and Iowa where she was born and raised. She was a member Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church and a former member of Central Presbyterian Church of Norristown, Pa where she was a member for 61 years before it closed. Verna enjoyed Reading, Camping, Traveling throughout the United States, and taking rides to Lancaster, Pa. Daughter of the Late Samuel & Lena (Swartzendruber) Wertz Beloved wife of the late – William E. Diltz Survivors include her Brother: John (& Marilyn) Christner Iowa Brother: Leo (& Phyllis) Christner Colorado Sister: Eudra (& Henry) Mullette Colonial Colona, IA Also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son William E. Diltz, Jr., A daughter Lisa E. Diltz, 3 brothers Lynn Wertz, Simon Wertz and Cecil Christner and a sister Helen Swartzendruber. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, Pa 19403. Clergy: The Rev. David J. Larkin officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Church. Interment will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories of Limerick, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Building Fund at Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 West Main Street, Jeffersonville, Pa 19403.
