Obituary of Ruth Ann Van Metre

Ruth Ann Van Metre, 86, of King Of Prussia, PA passed away at her home on February 16, 2016 . She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on April 29, 1929, daughter of the late Robert L. and Kathryn (Mielke) Catlett. Ruth Ann has lived in King of Prussia, Pa since 1960, formerly of Penn Wynn, Pa. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She and her late husband Lawrence were founding members of Mother of Divine Providence, where she was a member of the Woman's Guild and Care Ministries. Survivors include her Predeceased Husband: Late - Lawrence R. VanMetre Daughter: Donna (& Rich) Cummings, King of Prussia PA Son: Scott (& Martha) VanMetre, Katy TX Daughter: Laurie (& Mark Beaver) Van Metre , King of Prussia, PA Daughter: Lee Ann (& Steve) Ryan, King of Prussia PA Daughter: Linda (& Dave) Sassa, Gilbertsville PA Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Rev. Woody Sheetz-Willard, Heartland Hospice, will officiate. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 to 11: 00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
