Obituary of Clara A. Heleniak

Clara A. ( Kunaszuk ) Heleniak, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  She was 97 years of age.

She was born, in the Connaughtown section of Plymouth Township, on August 6, 1923, the daughter of the late Alexander and Alexandra “Alice” ( Leszczynski ) Kunaszuk.

Clara has lived in Conshohocken all of her life.  She was a member of the former St. Mary’s RC Church, where she was very active and a member of the Golden Age Club.

She graduated from Conshohocken High School class of 1941.

She was the wife of the late John J. Heleniak, Sr.

Survivors include Son Frank (Anne) Heleniak of Conshohocken, Son John (Margo) Heleniak, Jr. of Conshohocken, Grandchildren Heather Heleniak, Alyson (Mike) Hilts, John (Kerry) Heleniak, III, Christopher (Tyla) Heleniak, Frank Heleniak, Thomas (Dana) Heleniak.  She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren John IV, Aubrey, Addison, Clara, Thomas, Jr. and Landon. She also has many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a Granddaughter Lisa Heleniak, two brothers Edward Kunaszuk and John Kunaszuk, and three sisters Irene Kunaszuk, Josephine Polomski and Helen Bielawski.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM from St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the church.

Interment will take place in St. Benedict Cemetery, Colwell Lane, Conshohocken, PA.
