Obituary of Leona Anna Flood

Leona Anna Flood  

Leona Anna Flood, 82, of Lower Gwynedd, PA passed away after a long battle with many health problems, on Sunday, May 17, 2020.  Now her fight is over.  May she finally rest in peace.

She was born in Norristown, PA on July 5, 1937, the daughter of the late George L. and the late Lillie ( Good ) Flood.

Leona has been living in Lower Gwynedd, formerly of Collegeville, PA.

She was a member of Corpus Christi RC Church of Upper Gwynedd.  She loved singing in the choir, she was involved in many activities.  She enjoyed playing cards, reading and her most favorite was QVC.  We called her the QVC Queen.  She loved all kinds of gadgets.

She was Retired Director of Transportation for Wissahickon School District, where she worked for 46 years before retiring in 2003.  She was the first female president of the Pennsylvania Pupil Transportation Association, (PTAP).

Survivors include her closest friend Elfreda Baily of Lower Gwynedd, PA,"the love of her life" (Godson) Tyler Mascio of Conshohocken, PA, Niece Deborah Geiger, Nephew David Charles of Lansdale, Nephew William (& Ruth) Mascio of Conshohocken, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.  Leona was a true friend most could only hope for.

Her memorial service and interment will be announced once restrictions allow.
