Obituary of Josephine Sands

Josephine "Reds" Sands  

Josephine ( Radatti ) Sands, 93, of Audubon, PA passed away peacefully Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Regina Nursing Center.

She was born in Conshohocken, PA on March 19, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary ( Mash ) Radatti.

Josephine has been living in Norristown, PA, formerly of Florida where she lived for over 35 years.  She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church. 

Josephine loved music, dancing and a good party, she was an avid exerciser & worked as a waitress for 50 years. She worked at the Philadelphia Country Club before becoming a resident of Florida where she worked at Nieman Marcus.  

She was the loving mother of  Daughter Jacqueline Kakos of Collegeville, PA, Daughter Maria Sands of Audubon, PA, Daughter Lisa Sands of Boca Raton, FL, Sister Lucille O'Connor of Conshohocken, loving niece Patti (Greco) Barr also survived by 3 Grandchildren Paul (& Diane) Kakos, Amanda (& Austin) Teel, Michael Basalyga and 2 Great Grandchildren PJ & Kelly Kakos. Also, many nieces & nephews.

Josephine was predeceased in death by her Sister Julie Greco and brothers Vincent Radatti, John Radatti & Anthony Radatti. 

Services and Intement will be private.
