Obituary of Jean A. Russell

Jean A. Russell, age 89, of Conshohocken, PA passed away peacefully, on Saturday, May 2, 2020.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Francis and Cecelia (Pinkos) Russell.

Jean was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken and a devout member of St. Matthew's RC Church.   

More than anything, Jean loved her family. Forgoing her own wellbeing and devoting much of her life to that of her siblings, nieces, and nephews. Jean ended every conversation with, “Is everyone settled, do you need any money? (not that she had any)”. 

Her selflessness is an inspiration for all. 

There will never be another Jean Russell.  She will be greatly missed by all, especially her loving family. 

Jean is survived by her brother, Bill (& Joanne) Russell of Collegeville;

nieces and nephews, Michael (& Bernadette) Moyer of Conshohocken, Gary (& Theresa) Moyer of East Norriton, KC (& John) Morrione of West Norriton, Cindy (& Tony) Mashaintonio of Norristown, Nancy Russell of Collegeville, and Robert (& Monica) Moyer of Phoenixville;

great nieces and nephews, Melissa Moyer, Alyssa (& Brett) Tiagwad, Kyle Moyer, Anthony Morrione, Erica Mashaintonio, Kelly Moyer, Matthew Mashaintonio, Adrianna Moyer, Tyler Moyer, Carla Moyer and Jared Moyer;

as well as two great-great nieces, Sonia and Erica Santaella and one great-great nephew, Scott Santaella. 

Along with her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joan Russell; two brothers, Joseph and Francis Russell; and sister, Patricia Moyer.  

Due to present public health concerns, interment will be private in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. 

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date.
