Aunt Gay was always warm & loving and a wonderful cook. She had a great sense of humor & a natural way of making you feel at home in her company. I loved hearing about her & Uncle Ken’s casino trips where she usually won. She was really lucky! Yet she never bragged about it, she just laughed it off. She was really lucky in love too! Not everyone gets to be that lucky but I’m so grateful that I was lucky to be able to call her my godmother. You will be sorely missed. RIP Aunt Gay. Love you always, June

Was their paperboy for years(Times Herald). When ever I came to collect and Mrs. C. Answered, she always asked if anyone knew this kid. So pleasant a human being.

I just read what Mrs Carfagno's grand child wrote about sunflowers and Nana. I'd like to add... While growing up on the same street with Ken, Bob and Dave, Mrs C kept me well fed too. If I was around the house near meal time, Mrs C would prepare a place and tell me to sit down. Meal time could be breakfast, lunch or dinner. She was a wonderful cook and always had a big welcoming smile for me. I'll miss you Mrs C.

Gay was genuine, loving and kind. She didnt have a mean bone in her body. She was very good to me, and a second mother to my son Kenny lll. Gay was also a wonderful cook and always prepared meals for her family when she could. She will be missed.
