Anne Marie was like a second mother to me. She took me under her wing in 1999. We always kept in touch, as I was a friend of her daughters. I will and have missed her dearly. She was always so kind and caring and happy to talk.
A remarkable soul and a beautiful woman. I am sad she is no longer with us, but glad she has found peace with Elizabeth now.

My sympathy to AnneMarie’s family. Anne Marie was one of the sweetest nurses I have ever been blessed to work along side. She was genuine and true to those she called her friend. Her caring and gentleness to not only her patients but her friends at work will always be my memory. Anne Marie was a great nurse and colleague. My dear Anne Marie - I will always remember your kind and gentle nature. Cindy

Anne-Marie was a most kind and gentle soul. She was always smiling and and optimist. I worked with Anne-Marie at Abington for many years and she not only was strong and compassionate nurse but a fellow coworker always willing to help others. I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and closest of friends.

To the family of Anne Marie, I would like to share with you a special memory Anne Marie was a new recovery room nurse at Abington. Our first encounter was unpleasant. Not because of Anne Marie but because I was so full of myself as an anesthesia provider I smelled blood in the water when I realized I was releasing my patient to a brand new recovery room nurse. What I didn’t realize when I spoke to her in a condescending manner was the quality of nurse and person to whom I was speaking. Ithout missing a beat and with no display of anger or vitriol she calmly and kindly let me know about her depth and breadth of patient care experience and my total lack of professionalism I was so humbled and sorry for my behavior. I immediately apologized to her and she immediately accepted my apology. She never mentioned our encounter but I never forgot and she has remained an inspiration to me on how to treat coworkers. Her passing will be a terrible loss to her students her family and close friends. And I will never forget the lesson she taught me

There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful person, loving friend, good mother, daughter, sister, cousin and partner Anne Marie was. We've been good friends for over 25 years and I have always been thankful for your compassion, humor, gentleness and giving spirit. You are the kindest friend I have had, and I have many good friends- but you are the tops! Even with distance keeping us from spending time together as much, you always sent me cards, messages and little humorous emails. I loved when we talked on the phone/facetime and smile at each other. I will miss that so much. Praying for Mark, John and Your father John- who you loved dearly. The one thing that takes away a slight bit of my sadness, is knowing you are with Liz, holding and kissing her, and being with your mom and siblings again... Enjoy your reunion with those you love, and someday we will hug and laugh again too. Until that day, Love you my friend....

Words can not express the loss Annemarie's family and friends will experience with her passing. Annemarie was full of love, spirit and life. She had a kind soul and generous heart. I am truly blessed to have known her and worked with her at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. She was not only a coworker but a friend. She enjoyed teaching and educating students. She loved her family and I can often recall stories that she shared of the love she had for Mark and her children. She may be physically gone from this world but her memory will live on. My prayers are with Annemarie and her family during this time. ❤️
