My Memory of my nephew is a sweet, loving, carefree, easy going young man that always had a smile on. He was his father's mini me and had a loving heart and kindness like my sister. And so much more! I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Nick - which makes it more sad that life/work gets in the way and life and people are taken for granted.
The peace we can have is to remember Nick won't be in pain and can rest in peace.
Forever loved and missed.

I did not know nick all that well, but i do know his parents My Heart is crushed for them and the rest of their family. I have gotten to know the family through the great stories from Pickles aka Mike. I pray for the family's strength to get through this tragic time. They have been through so much already , my love goes out to the entire family.

Nick was my son's best friend and will never be forgotten. He brought joy and laughs to many. He was always respectful and I enjoyed when he would be with us swimming, hanging out on Pine street. My deepest sympathy and prayers to Mike and Cheryl and Jill to help you. Nick may you rest in peace with no more demon to fight.

Nick is a good man. Mike and Cheryl raised him right. He was loving and caring. He was polite and honorable.
He was smart and funny as heck. He also was curious and loved a challenge. He met a monster one day that doesn't like this kind of man. Nick had to fight this monster every day. It is a very hard fight. The monster is big and bad but, lies and acts like a friend. Nick figured this out one day. He was determined to leave the monster in the past and start anew. Nick wanted to warn and help others to get away and stay away. He wanted to be free of the monster that is ugly and knows all the tricks. Believe me, I know. Nick, like so many others lost his fight against the monster. Like so many others he left us. But he left us knowing that he was fighting hard but, the monster was just too big. Nick is another example of a wonderful person taken by the monster. I will remember Nick as a fighter that wanted to heel and help others to do the same. He will always be in my heart and memories. He will never be gone because he will always be right there.

Nick was a kind soul with a loving heart. Watching him grow up across the street from our family...sitting on the sidewalk eating ice cream and our kids playing together will always be wonderful memories. Nick had the greatest smile and you knew he was happy to stop and talk. We will miss you Nick but we will always remember you and your smile. Be at Peace. Love, Sue, Sarah and Stevie

I will remember Nick as a fine young man. We often met while walking our dogs together and often talking sports. He was a kind person and shoveled me and my cars out of a few snow storms, without being asked to, when I was not physically able to. He will be sorely missed by his family and those that knew him from our neighborhood. May he Rest In Peace and may his family find the strength to go on without him, and be consoled knowing they raised a true Gentleman.
