Jack was as kind and generous as he was humble. He always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He was a compelling storyteller who also had a good sense of humor. Everyone that crossed paths with Jack couldn't help but like him. It was truly an honor to have known him. Rest easy, Jack.

What a joy and a privilege to know Jack through the many years of friendship my husband and I shared together with our Dear friend Jack. I remember when he learned to fly and the many stories he would tell - some of them very amusing. He was a good friend, genuine and sincere. He was always reaching out to help others. He gave everyone who knew him many fond memories.
Thank You Jack for fond remembrances.

Jack was as kind a soul as they come. He was my grandmother's cousin and such a dear, sweet friend to her after my grandfather passed. He took care of her until the day she passed. He will truly be missed.

I was privileged enough to know Jack for most of my adult life. He was a giving, kind, funny man who loved to help others, fly small engine planes, drive around the suburban area of Philadelphia and just be with people whose company he enjoyed. Jack was a most generous man who gave more than he received and was always willing and able to assist others in need. Though Jack was a very private and humble man, he valued his faith, possessed strong morals, worked hard and always respected everyone he met. Jack had a great sense of humor, loved to share stories of the past and was a person who will be missed by all those who lives he touched.

Jack was a dear, caring and lovely man. Anyone meeting him would speak of his kindness which made him a memorable character. Jack also had very strong political opinions which he often and openly expressed. As a war hero, he was proud of our country and the era that he enjoyed most.
He made himself available to friends and family to drive them to many different locations for their life and family events. Many had no other way of getting to appointments because they neither drove, had no public transportation accessible or were too frail to go without help.
He was devoted to his mother Mary and helped care for her for many years.
With so many friends throughout his life, it is sad that so few remained to help him toward the end.
