Obituary of Naomi Marie Burgmayer

Naomi Marie (Kuhl) Burgmayer   

Naomi Marie (Kuhl) Burgmayer, age 90, of Wyncote, PA passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

She was born in Trenton, NJ on November 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Edward Kuhl and Ruth (Peters) Kuhl.

Naomi has lived in Wyncote, PA for the last year, formerly of Huntingdon Valley and Levittown, PA and Trenton, NJ, where she was born and raised.

She was a member of Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church and The Salvation Army.  Naomi served with The Salvation Army as an ordained clergy officer from 1948 through 1964 also later serving in various volunteer opportunities including playing alto horn in The Salvation Army Levittown, PA Corps band with her family.

Naomi worked as a school nurse with Bristol Township School District for twenty-five years.  After retiring, she indulged in her love of travel, visiting many places around the world including Canada, Europe, China, Australia and New Zealand.

She is survived by her sons Harold (& Priscilla) Burgmayer of West Dundee, IL; Paul (& Sharon) Burgmayer of Wayne, PA; David (& Donna) Burgmayer of Lafayette Hill, PA; brother Richard Kuhl of Daytona Beach, FL; sister Barbara Joslin of Sterling Heights, MI.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brother Edward Kuhl, and sisters Grace Kuhl, Mable Orzol, Shirley Hoffman and Lorraine Kuhl, two great grandchildren Ruby Joy and Eliad Leo,

Her Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019.  Visitation and preliminary music will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by the service at 10:30 AM at Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church, 2410 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, Pa 19006.

A private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Trenton, NJ.
