Obituary of Stephen Knecht

Stephen Knecht, age 64, of Hatfield, PA passed away on  Sunday, June 9, 2019.

He was born in Winber, PA on February 11, 1955, the son of the late Steve and Cathryn (Casper) Knecht.

Stephen has been living in Hatfield, PA for four years, formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA, Tampa, FL, and Manayunk, PA. Manayunk is where he met and wed his true love Christina (Parrella) Knecht. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Tampa where they began a family of their own. He worked as the Supervising Electrician on multiple large contracts including but not limited to the Philadelphia Phillies Spring Baseball Training Camp in Clearwater, FL and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

Survivors include his beloved wife Christina (Parrella) Knecht of Hatfield; two daughters, Christina Knecht of Hatfield and Stephanie (& Mike) Bradley of Plymouth Meeting; brother, Thomas (& Marsha) Knecht; and sister, Cathy (& Bruce) Petko.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Stephen's Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM.  Following the Funeral Service, the Knecht Family will be gathering together at their home in Hatfield and welcomes you to join them for dinner in celebration of Stephen's memory. Interment will be private at a later date.
