Obituary of David S. Votto

David S. Votto, Sr., age 82, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Dave was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 22, 1936, a son of the late Michael J. and Katherine (Stewart) Votto.

Dave has been living in Plymouth Meeting for two years.  He had formerly lived in Limerick and the Roxborough/Manayunk sections of Philadelphia.   He started his career as a bassist and entertainer in a band.  Later he transitioned and became a Hair Stylist, where he  had a successful careerowning and operating David Votto Gallery of Hair Design in Narberth.   Dave enjoyed cars and fishing in Ocean City, NJ.  

He was the husband of the late Joyce H. Votto (nee Shoemaker).  

Dave is survived by his son, David ( & Audrey) Votto of Phoenix, AZ;  
daughter, Michele ( & Gus) Xenakes of Plymouth Meeting;   
eight grandchildren, Joyce, Elizabeth, Lisa, John David, Stephen, Lauren and Christopher;   
and eight great grandchildren, Ethan, Zoe, Jordan, Olivia, Owen, Gia, Angelina, Brooklyn and Eric.   

Along with his wife and parents, Dave was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Spinks; grandson, Robert Spinks; brothers, Ronald and Michael Votto; and sister, Marie Skuba.                        
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 2 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. Entombment will follow in the adjoining mausoleum.
