Obituary of Jackie Connelly

John Allan"Jackie" Connelly, 77, entered into rest on Saturday December 8, 2018 in Green Valley, AZ where he resided since May of 2018.

John retired from his Director of Telecommunications position with Electronic Data Systems in 2009, and later relocated to the main island of Hawaii where he and his wife Leanna lived for six years before moving to their Green Valley, AZ home in May of 2018.

He was a graduate of Conshohocken High School and served in the United States Air Force as a medic from 1959 to 1963.  He completed training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX before deploying for a tour of duty in Ankara, Turkey.

John was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports and took great pride in his local Conshohocken heritage.  He is survived by a son Daren Connelly of Collegeville, Pa, a daughter Lori Scoli of Birdsboro, Pa and a brother David M. Connelly of Collegeville, Pa.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.  Relatives and friends are to gather at the funeral home on Saturday Morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

A luncheon will be provided at Jack Francis Catering, 300 Maple Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428, immediately following the memorial service for friends and family members who wish to attend.
