Joan: I was so lucky to have had JEB (we called him that as those were his initials) as a K-1 company mate..The four years we spent in the same Cadet company were made so much better by having John with us. I know that you shall miss him greatly but to those of us who were priviled to know him, our lives were enriched... Bob "Sparky" Arnold & Margaret

John was one of the original good men. We served at the same time in the 25th Infantry Division and overlapped in Germany in the 70's. I shall always rember him as a classmate and colleague and a friend. My sorrow extends to Joan and the children. What a loss.

John was a wonderful person and a great friend to me and to my late husband. I remember so many good times - hops at West Point and ski adventures in Vermont, and reunions, and visits to the west coast. The world is emptier without you, John. God bless.
