George has lived in Conshohocken most of his life except growing up in West Conshohocken He served in the US Army during World WarII He served as a corporal with Company A 927th Battalion, he received the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal, EAME Theater Service Medal with 5 Bronze Stars and the Victory Medal George was a Member and Past President of Conshohocken V.F.W Post 1074
