Obituary of Michael J. Fitzpatrick

Michael J. Fitzpatrick, age 68 of Norristown, died Monday, January 27, 2014 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. He was the husband of the late Jackie R. (DeWolf) Fitzpatrick. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at Plymouth Gardens Apartments. Michael was born in Ithaca, NY on March 30, 1945 to the late William and Ella Jean (Welch) Fitzpatrick. Michael was raised in Ithaca N.Y. He moved to Conshohocken where he lived until moving to Norristown 12 years ago. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church in Conshohocken and St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Norristown, Pa. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his daughters, Kim Rupp of Norristown, and Ashley Fitzpatrick of Norristown; sons, Tim Fitzpatrick of Norristown, Scott Fitzpatrick of Norristown, Brian Fitzpatrick of Bethlehem, and Jason Fitzpatrick of Whitemarsh; sisters, Mary Ann Fitzpatrick, Margaret Bart, Anna Comerford; brothers, Robert Fitzpatrick, and John Fitzpatrick; also 11 grandchildren. His funeral service and interment will be private.
