Ross A. Noblit, age 88 of Harleysville, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Peter Becker Community of Harleysville, PA. Husband of Alice (Hein) Noblit. Born in West Conshohocken, PA on September 12, 1925, he was the son of the late Beirdella (arters) and Ross Noblit. Ross has been living in Harleysville since 2007, formerly of Conshohocken. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church of Conshohocken. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Ross was the former owner and operator of Exxon Service Station at 7th & Fayette Street Conshohocken. He was a member of Fritz Lodge F & A M # 308, he was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of High Tweleve Club, and also a member of Conshohocken No. 2 Fire Company and a former member of George Clay Fire Co, of West Conshohocken. He enjoyed working with carpentry and most enjoyed spending time with his family In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Betty Ann (& William ) Smith of Fayetteville, NC, Carol (& Jim) Volz of Plymouth Meeting, Cheryl (& Mark ) Kelly of Eagleville; also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Constance Thim & Virginia Knoeller. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. Stephen W. Price officiating, Pastor of Calvary Episcopal Church. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
