Donald has lived in Lafayette Hill for the last 23 years, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa He grew up as a member of St. Mary's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa and presently a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Lafayette Hill, Pa He graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School class of 1980 He worked as a self employed Stone Mason, he was regarded as one of the finest stone mason, he learned to be a fine craftsman from older master Italian stone masons, He was a Jack of all and master of many talents, along with stone work he also was able to carve Statues out of stone and was commissioned to complete projects others were not able to complete. He will live on thru the many projects he completed and often said "there is nothing greater than love and that the only thing that will live on is the Love you give or recieved." He felt you had to work everyday, and he was a true Sportsman and enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and Traveling

Obituary of Donald E. Stingle

Donald E. Stingle, age 50 of Lafayette Hill, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his home with his loving family at his side. Husband of Michele (Bondi) Stingle. Born in Norristown, PA on July 18, 1962, son of Gerard N. Stingle, Sr. of Conshohocken and the late Eleanor J. (Turek) Stingle. Donald lived in Lafayette Hill for the last 23 years, and is formerly of Conshohocken, Pa. He grew up as a member of St. Mary's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa, and presently a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Lafayette Hill, Pa. He graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School in 1980. He worked as a self-employed Stone Mason, and was regarded as one of the finest in his trade. He learned the art of fine craftsmanship from older master Italian stone masons. He was a Jack of all trades and master of many talents. Along with stone work he was also able to carve statues out of stone and was commissioned to complete projects that can be found on houses from Nantucket to the Main Line. He was also a true Sportsman and enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and Traveling. He was known for the knack of telling great stories like no other. Donny often said, "There is no force stronger on earth than love and that the only thing that will live on is the love that was given or received." In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his sons,Michael B. Stingle, 21 of Lafayette Hill and Joseph A. Stingle, 19 of Lafayette Hill; brothers, Jerry (& Kim) Stingle of Bridgeport and Benjamin Stingle of Lafayette Hill; aunt, Maryann Turek of Conshohocken. Donny is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and too many friends to mention. Along with his Mother Eleanor (Turek) Stingle he was preceded in death by a brother Richard G. Stingle. There will be a celebration of his life on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 8:00 P.M. from Washington Fire Company on West Elm Street and Fayette Street in Conshohocken. Friends may greet the family from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., followed by personal dedications from guests at 8:00 P.M. Interment will be Private.
