Obituary of Janet S. Watson

Janet S. (Weidamoyer) Watson, age 65 of Conshohocken passed away on Friday April 5, 2013 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia with her family at her side. A lifelong Conshohocken resident, she was the loving wife of Jerry R. Watson Sr. Janet was a retired party planner with Arnold's Family Fun Center of Oaks Pa. She also worked as a secretary with Florig Equipment Co. Born in Norristown, Pa., on Nov. 22, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Risden) Weidamoyer. She was a former member and past president of the Washington Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary of Conshohocken and she was a member of the Pennsylvania State Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as President in 1980. She enjoyed to knit, crochet and sew. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. Besides her husband, Janet is survived by sons, Jerry R. (and his wife Annette) Watson Jr. of Gilbertsville, Pa. and Eric Watson of Conshohocken, Pa.; grandchildren, Carly, Jarod, Casey and Jade; brothers, Harry (and his wife Donna) Weidamoyer and Ralph (and his wife Betty) Weidamoyer, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her brother Paul Weidamoyer and her sister Virginia Chendorain. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Janet on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggerio Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St. Conshohocken, Pa. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
