Obituary of David S. Smerecki. Sr.

David S. Smerecki. Sr., 73, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018 after a long illness. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on February 7, 1945. David was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken and was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church. He served in the US Navy. David retired from Montgomery County Community College after 20+ years of faithful service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Survivors include the mother of his 6 loving children, Eva ( Maurer ) Smerecki and his: Daughter: Caroline Smerecki Conshohocken PA Son: David, Jr. ( Nancy ) Smerecki Harleysville PA Son: Peter ( Donna ) Smerecki Eagleville PA Son: James Smerecki Conshohocken PA Daughter: Kristen ( Stephen ) Bono Plymouth Meeting PA Daughter: Karen ( Michael "Tug" ) Ludwig Palmyra PA His 12 grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Ethan, Matthew, Jonah, Owen, Gabriella, Stephen, Talia, Giavanna, Emma & Anthony Brother: Joseph Smerecki Collegeville PA Sister: Diane Smerecki Conshohocken PA Sister: Chantel Fattore Conshohocken PA As well as many nieces and nephews Along with his parents, the late Joseph; Philomena ( Denno ) Smerecki he was preceded in death by a sister Joann M. Vishio. His Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Monday Evening April 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428 and Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will follow mass at St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. David has lived in Conshohocken most of his life. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken. He worked with Montgomery County Community College. David enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
