Obituary of Jack Evan Krammes

Jack Evan Krammes, 84, of Royersford, PA passed away on December 11, 2017. He was born in Rush County, Indiana on May 27, 1933, the son of the late Edna (Moore) and Marion Krammes. Jack has been living in Royersford since February 2017, formerly of Perry, GA, Summerfield, FL and New Whiteland, IN. He retired from Detroit Diesel Allison Division in 1990. He was a member of VFW Post 7155 of Trappe, PA. He was a Freemason and lifetime member of Jubilee Lodge of Whiteland, IN. Jack was also a member of the American Legion. Jack honorably served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Patricia (Shelhorn) Krammes of Royersford, PA; two daughters, Lisa Krammes ( & Ruth Levy) of Collegeville, PA and Terri ( & Frank) Guengerich of Herndon, VA; daughter in law, Mary Krammes of Valparaiso, IN; sister, Vera ( & Harlan) Burris of Gwynneville, IN; brother, Steve ( & Susan) Krammes of Delaware, OH; six grandchildren, Chelsea Krammes Hood, Evan Krammes, Joshua Levy, Courtney Guengerich, Anna Krammes and Allison Guengerich; uncle, Robert Moore, as well as nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his son, Michael Krammes, and three brothers, James, Gary & Gene Krammes. His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe PA , 19426. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 9:30AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
