Obituary of Irvin H. Neyer

Irvin H. Neyer, 88, of Kutztown, PA passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the GHS Hospice of the Foothills in Seneca, South Carolina. He was the husband of Beatrice A. (Brobst) with whom he shared 67 years of marriage on November 4, 2017. Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late Irvin Sr. and Anne (Long) Neyer. Irvin served honorably in the 82nd Airborne, 782nd Ordinance Company during the Korean War (1948-1952). He spent more than 40 years working in the overhead crane industry mastering all disciplines for building massive industrial cranes. In his younger days, Irvin was an avid bowler and chased the little white ball around the golf course. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Survivors: wife Beatrice, sons Raymond Stoudt and his wife Margaret of Allentown, Robert and his wife Robin of Salem, South Carolina, David and his wife Debbie of Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Ronald B. Neyer.
