J. Elaine (Slough) Smith, 80, of Norristown, Pa passed away on Monday October 10, 2016 . She was born in Norristown, Pa on November 22, 1935. Elaine has lived in Norristown, Pa most of her life. She was a member of Olivet Schwenkfelder Church. She worked as a Crossing Guard with Norristown Police Department. Daughter of the Late Kenneth D. & Ella Mae ( Bergey ) Slough. Beloved wife of the Late Paul A. "Bud" Smith, Jr. Survivors include her Daughter: Deborah E. (& Stephen) Beatty Birdsboro PA Son: Jeff S. Smith Easton PA Daughter: Dana L. (& Scott) Dugan Pottstown PA Sister: Sandra Christman West Norriton PA Also survived by 8 Grandchildren: Jason, Ryann, Kyle, Miranda, Tristan, Taylor, Daniel, & Riley and 2 Great Grandchildren: Odin & Freyja. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth D. Slough, Jr. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery Co., West Norriton, Pa.
