Obituary of Paola L. Corbo

Paola (Mazzotti) Corbo, wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and friend, died on Thursday, October 24, 2024, she was age 87. 

Paola was born in Vicenza, Italy on July 1, 1937, the daughter of the late Dino and Maria Mazzotti.  

After immigrating from Italy, Paola lived in Norristown, PA before moving to Collegeville, PA in 1969.  She was an exceptional seamstress and kept a clean, neat and organized home for her beloved family. She will be remembered for her beauty, determination, courage, independence, which made her loved by family and friends. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

Paola cherished her collection of dolls and jewelry that she purchased throughout the many years of fun times at yard sales with dear friends. One of her many gifts of kindness were breeding and selling Chihuahua's, which brought her much joy and happiness.

Paola is survived by four sons, Joseph Corbo (Terri Billetta), Dino Corbo, Anthony Corbo, and Michael Corbo; two brothers, Evo and Ottello Mazzotti; two granddaughters, Deena Del Carmen Reyes (Rodolfo) and Brittany DiStefano (Nathan) and 13 great grandchildren, Arianna, Jayden, Isaiah, Regina, Raphael, Rachella, Rosalina, Ramona, Roman, Rocco, Ravenna, Rubianna and Renata.  

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Clalia Mazzotti, her grandson, Tony Corbo and daughter-in-law, Carol Corbo.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 morning from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. There will be a prayer service directly following by Pastor Bob Keiderling at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
