Obituary of Helen Trankle
Helen (Ryan) Trankle, 97, of West Norriton, PA passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Powerback Nursing Center of Norristown.
Born in Swedeland, PA on March 15, 1917, she had lived in West Norriton and for the last 8 years she was living at Powerback in Norristown, PA.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jeffersonville, PA and a homemaker.
Helen was “1934 Miss Bridgeport.”
She was an artistic and creative person and enjoyed arts & Crafts and china painting for many years.
Survivors include her Daughter: Ruth DeLuca of East Norriton, PA, Son: James H. Trankle of Philadelphia, PA, Son: Kenneth R. Trankle of East Norriton, PA, Sister: Mary Cummins of East Norriton, PA, Grandchildren: Karen Riner, John Trankle, Jodi Hoffman, Kimberly Schank, Kerrin Haschak, & Kenneth Trankle, Jr. Also survived by nephews Robert Cummins, Ritchie Cummins and a niece Barbara Wilson, as well as 12 Great Grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Hanson A. Trankle, and her parents, James Ryan and Matilda (Davis) Ryan, she was preceded in death by a Grandson James Trankle, Jr., & a Sister Elizabeth Ryan.
Services and interment will be private in Valley Forge Gardens.
